UPDATE: The workshop will be held on 4/19 at the Delcastle Technical High School from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The workshop will be board based where attendants can walk around at their own pace, a project team member will be at each board to explain and answer any questions. A comment form will be provided so we can receive feedback from attendants. Mailers have been sent to the Marshallton community with this information.

The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) is holding a Public Workshop to solicit public input for the proposed improvements at the Old Capital Trail / Stanton Road and Old Capitol Trail / Newport Road intersections in Marshallton, Delaware in New Castle County. The Public Workshop will be held on April 19, 2022 at Delcastle Technical High School. The public is invited to attend anytime between 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. If you are interested in the project but unable to attend the public workshop, a virtual presentation can be viewed at the project website link listed above. The virtual presentation will be posted one week prior to the live workshop date.
The overall purpose of this project is to provide intersection improvements, address high volume cut through traffic and restore a more walkable connected community. This workshop will also provide an update on the project?s schedule. Attendees will have an opportunity to review the intersection improvements and provide comments to DelDOT representatives.
Interested persons are invited to express their views in writing, giving reasons for, or in opposition to, the proposed improvements. Comments will be received during the workshop, submitted online or can be mailed to DelDOT Community Relations, P.O. Box 778, Dover, DE 19903 or sent via email to [email protected].
