The Kiamensi Civic Association Halloween Decorating Contest will be held this season!
Please read the rules and instructions below for more details. To register, please provide your name and street address by emailing [email protected] or texting (302)753-0506.
1. Participation is open to all residents within the boundaries of Kiamensi Civic Association.
2. Entry is free, no costs or fees apply.
3. Contest is for exterior decorations only, including decorations in windows that are visible from the exterior.
4. Judging will be based on “curb appeal” as viewed from the street only. Therefore, only those decorations located on the street side of the property will be judged (corner lots will be judged from both streets).
5. Participants agree to have one or more photos of their decorated residence exterior posted on Nextdoor, Facebook and/or published in the Kiamensi Civic Association website (www.kiamensicivic.com). Participant agrees there will be no compensation of any kind for said posting or publication.
6. Judging will be Peoples choice voting done via Facebook based on pictures taken by the KCA and will be posted prior to October 26th for voting.
7. Participants should ensure that all lights, animations and decorations are in place and activated for by October 19th.
8. Popular vote will be awarded a $50 gift card to Amazon.
9. Winners will be announced on Facebook, Nextdoor and on the Kiamensi Civic Association website (www.kiamensicivic.com) on October 26th.
