Wow, what an incredible day! We were lucky to have picture-perfect weather for the KCA Fall Festival on October 11th. It was great seeing all of you out there enjoying the afternoon with us—the energy was fantastic. Seriously, thanks for making it such a success!
The Legendary Fall Bake-Off
The Fall Bake-off was fiercely competitive! Our volunteer judges had a seriously tough job because the entries were all amazing. From creative names to professional execution, the treats were next-level. Big congrats to our winners for these incredible creations:
- 1st Place – $50 Urban Kitchen Gift Card for Brown butter pecan tart with salted caramel cream by David Goguen
- 2nd Place – $25 Mary’s Country Kitchen Gift Certificate for London Fog Cake by Jay Freeland
- 3rd Place – $20 Tony and Dominick’s Gift Card for Flumpkin by Kristen Allen
Cornhole & Decorating Champions
We can’t forget our other champions who brought their A-game!
- Pumpkin Decorating Champion: A big shout-out to Ben for designing the winning pumpkin this year. We’ve got some serious talent in the neighborhood!
- Cornhole Tournament Champs: Charles and Reese dominated the boards and went home with the $40 gift card to Pleasant Hills Bowling Alley. Nicely played, guys!
From competitive cornhole to that amazing salted caramel cream tart, it was a fantastic reminder of how great our Kiamensi community is. We’re already planning our next event, so keep an eye on the calendar—we can’t wait to see you again soon!
