The Kiamensi Civic Association has some great opportunities for our residents to get more involved. As of recently, 2 of our Officers who have dedicated years to our organization are excited to move on to some new adventures. We are very happy for them both and want to help transition responsibilities over to others as soon as feasible.
Secondly, since the current set of officers took over years ago, the only changes prior to now in officers were the transition from Barry Boulden to CJ Boulden in the role of Vice President as well as the transition from Bill Stryzs to Terri McGrath in the role of Trustee. During this time, there has not been much interest shown in the roles so the current officers have sat term to term. In order to remedy this for transparency and to ensure that the opportunities are open to any resident, the two open roles of Treasurer and Social Chair (Events Coordinator) as well the current seated roles of Trustees (3), Secretary, Vice President and President will also be opened up for voting in new representatives for anyone who is interested in being included in the voting process.
If after reading all that you decide you can’t commit to an official position but can help occasionally with an event, represent our community, or even donate items or resources to events, we need you too! Be on the lookout for opportunities to help contribute!

Our next meeting will be held on Monday, November 14th virtually where we will ask for community vote on the open roles in so please come join us.
