Did you know New Castle County offers a free daily telephone reassurance program for senior citizens and homebound residents?
This program calls the homes of its subscribers, many of whom live alone. The daily scheduled phone calls are made to ensure subscribers are doing well and not in need of emergency assistance.
If after several attempts the calls are unsuccessful or go unanswered, help is sent to the home to check on the well-being of the subscriber.
